When may I nominate someone?
Nominations may be submitted at any time.
When is the deadline for submitting nominations?
The deadline for nomination submission to be considered for the following year's class is August 1st.
How do I nominate a candidate for induction?
Forms are available on this site under Nomination Qualifications in the About menu. First, inform the candidate of your intentions and next, enlist their assistance in completing the form and resume.
When will nominees be announced?
On or about October 15th for the next year's inductee class.
Who selects the nominees? When?
The 15 person nomination and selection committee meets twice in September. The initial meeting is a comprehensive review of all the current nominees. The final meeting is for a formal vote by the committee ranking the nominees, which is then given to the HOF Board of Directors. The Board of Directors then meets to review the ranking of the nominees. The Board is responsible for the number of nominees to be inducted into the following year's class.
Are there lists of qualified candidates that I may choose from?
Yes! Please contact John Wills for a list of names which have been collected. This list is continually being added to and is not all inclusive. If there is a candidate you wish to nominate who isn't on the list, please nominate them!
When is the induction ceremony?
Generally, it has been the 1st Saturday in May. In 2026 it will be on May 2nd.
When will tickets be made available for purchase?
On or about February 15th. Up to this time, the current year inductees and their families are given the opportunity to buy tickets.
What is the price of a ticket?
$35.00
Where can I locate information about past inductees?
Right here on the MHSAHOF website! Please scroll the inductees and choose the year listed, which will contain the inductees photo and biography information.
Also, all current inductee plaque information may be viewed at the Menominee High School gymnasium foyer in the three kiosks located there. There is a picture of the kiosks on the History page.
Can I obtain photos or videos of the induction ceremonies?
